This officer had his image taken by "Brand's" in Chicago, Illinois. The 15th Wisconsin was in Chicago for a few hours in early March, 1862, but their schedule probably precluded having an image taken then. However, part of Company A was raised from the Chicago area, so this could be a Captain, 1st Lieutenant, or 2nd Lieutenant of Co. A.
