In this tintype photograph this unknown Private is wearing a forage cap, 5 button Wisconsin State Blouse, and holding a Dresden Rifle Musket similar to those issued to 15th soldiers at Camp Randall in Madison, Wisconsin, in late 1861 and early 1862.
