He was born June 24, 1836, in Norway and died December 18, 1906, in Minnesota
He married Elizabeth Gorgenson in 1865 and they had at least 5 children prior to 1884
Child in the photo is believed to be their son, Otto C. Amundson
Image is believed to have been taken sometime in the 1870's
