Drawn by then Private Ole R. Dahl of Company H (later 1st Lieutenant of Company B and later still a Brigade Topographical Officer). Island No. 10 was then located in the Mississippi River, but has since washed completely away. This drawing is one of a series known to have been made by Dahl during the war.
